On Tuesday, February 21, 2023. At the invitation of Snježana Ercegovac, the senior librarian of the Savica Library, we held a lecture for parents within the "Family Support in the Community" program. The lecture on empathy and communication in the family stimulated a discussion about how we solve 'difficult situations' in our families and in our schools, such as divorce or inappropriate behavior of children, and what tools we have in our hands. We explained what empathy means and what sympathy means, how to sympathize with others, but also with ourselves, and how to deal with stressful and challenging situations, both in parenting and education, and in working with children and young people. During the lecture, Pragma's psychologists Marija Granić and Mirjana Soljačić gave a series of examples and instructions that parents can apply on a daily basis, and parents will also receive Pragma's publications that will give them answers to some other educational questions.
The "Family Support in the Community" program is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Health and the Central State Office for Demography and Youth. The content of the publication is the sole responsibility of Pragma.
