For the past few years, the Pragma association has been carrying out activities within the "Family Support in the Community" project, in which it provides professional assistance to families and practical help through counseling, therapy, and workshops, pointing out possible failings in upbringing and empowering them for quality and responsible parenting. conditions, it cannot be considered as a reflection of the position of the Ministry of Health or the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.
In the Pragma association, we believe in the importance of nurturing warm, caring and positive family relationships between all members, before and after the birth of a child. Preparations for parenthood, especially fatherhood, require additional knowledge and skills that can be learned and are based on the concept of "positive parenting". Positive parenting encourages parental behavior that is aimed at the best interest of the child, through care, empowerment, non-violence, respect and guidance that includes setting boundaries to enable the child's full development (COUNCIL OF EUROPE, 2006).
The project is aimed at encouraging early involvement of fathers in child care and fostering warm, caring and positive family relationships between all family members. Through a series of activities (lectures, workshops, support groups, counseling, campaigns, promotion, etc.), fathers are empowered and create future generations of fathers who, equally with mothers, participate in the early stages of their child's development.
The program activities of the "Family Support in the Community" program of the Pragma association are implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Health and the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.
