The cycle of workshops "Colorful and gray thoughts, emotions and behavior" in which she participated has ended over 70 participants from all over Croatia. We were educated on interesting and current topics, heard a lot information, guidelines and experiences and raised awareness of the importance of mental health care. We hope they will each of the participants take with them what they needed from this cycle.
The topics of the workshops were:
Self-destructiveness: self-criticism under the guise of perfectionism, guilt and self-anger, self-punishing behaviors in everyday life, intense and exaggerated reactions to failure and mistakes, learned helplessness, self-blame and withdrawal from society; Thursday, November 10, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Digital depression: how technology has affected cognitive, emotional and social skills individual, what hidden messages we try to send using various social functions networks and how this affects a person's emotional state in the long term; the phenomenon of fictional audiences, unattainable standards of beauty and lack of control in spending time in the virtual world; Tuesday, November 22, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Fears, worries and boundaries: the neurobiology of fear and life in stressful circumstances; fear of the future fear of abandonment, fear of death and aging, existential worries, fear of various kinds of loss (with preventive fear of connection); it's important to know what you want, but it's even more important to know what you need - how verbalize one's own needs and set boundaries in relationships and with oneself; Tuesday, November 29 from 6 p.m until 7 p.m
Overthinking: Fighting automatic negative thoughts and learning to work through them, how it works the human mind and what are errors in thinking, how to deal with the vicious circle of negative thoughts - when we can do it ourselves, and when we need help; Tuesday, December 6, from 6 to 7 p.m.
